Heheh...recalling that when I 1st joined up here, just about 6 months ago, my character took some actions and said stuff that unintentionally stirred up, rather than helped pacify, the unrest in the city.

Hell if that hoohah could have any chance of bringing this game back into motion again, I would have happily stirred MUCH HARDER! Would surely have gotten Huyan Lie to do and say everything he did and more! :D :P

While our GM Sir Ebrum continues to stay away to work through his real life, our game and characters languish in a land forgotten by time...:P :(

You were a slither away from getting killed by several PCs even without pushing harder. If the original "riot" ran (before being integrated into the the wider crisis), Huyan Lie very likely was going to get shot. Several times.

It's a little sad the game went cold, Sir Ebrum being away for several months. I have this huge plot for infiltrating the rebel city as part of the crisis response..

Technically, no. I wasn't trying to infiltrate the city that time, I was in the outskirts. But the goal was the same.

Thanks for the repeated reminders ShadInquis. :D Of how Huyan Lie was almost killed by your and only your character.

When the game restarts again, in case I forget, remind me again to take into consideration Li Sheng's attitude and potential responses that might be provoked by any of Huyan Lie's actions. :)

From what I remember, most of the guard officers would have killed Huyan Lie

Correct me if I am mistaken, but Li Sheng is the only officer who attempted to kill Huyan. Or rather he was all ready with his archers on the roof to take him out. Other officers didn't even make any real move to actually threaten Huyan with bodily harm.

Oh Dai Ren wouldn't have killed HL, but he would've for sure at least attempted to gently capture him had he thought it been necessary. Somewhat gently. Ok maybe not gently, but definitely non-lethally. Maybe.

Attempted to kill and were preparing to kill once they dealt with other issues is a different thing.

Jiang Yan would have shot him once he heard Huyan Lie mouth off more than a few sentences, I think.

Hmm...not sure really. Can't tell from the stuff that was stated or rp'd. But yeah, I suppose that would have been a valid response for some characters.

No kidding. I believe you. Jiang Yan is exactly those type of officials that should have their authority stripped from them. Possessed by a demon? Yeah that pretty much disqualifies you from a sound mind, and hence from public office really. This is the kind of officials that cause unrest and rebellions, destroy social peace and stability. They don't serve the people, but their own convictions and crazy notions.
