I didn't see anything like this so any thoughts on making a Simzhou feedback thread for thoughts and opinions on the test game so we can express what we think could use some adjustment from a player perspective at least and it could be a one stop shop for the Mods to look at instead of bits here and there in 10 different threads?

Amongst all the events, I think losing troops right now is really painful though...

Careful, Jiang Yan might actually do it :D

But on a more serious note, I literally have no idea what to do with the gold I'm getting from patrols. If only we could relax the rules about officers donating to city coffers just a bit for simzhou, it would probably do more good there...

I was thinking of opening a shop but from what I've seen in terms of gold it would be possible for about 2-3 players to easily consume and outpace my crafting point generation. I make like ~125 points with blacksmith. But when I've hunted I've gotten over 200 plus. Since crafting an item takes the same amount of points as it does with gold, IE: a +1 war item costs 100 crafting points in the crafting thread, 100 gold in the market, all crafting is the conversion of gold to crafting points.

However I'm capped at my 125 points per turn with 25 AP max. When I've hunted a couple of times I've gotten 200+ So potentially you can buy your item faster than I could craft it.

So the long and short of it.. a single crafts person can't service many people with how freely gold seems to be flowing since they are likely going to want to purchase higher value items, and since as a business I'm going to sale items at a discount vs the market like 70-80% just one player like Mat who has 400+ gold could suck up almost all my current crafting points.

But on a one on one basis just send me a PM and we can work something out!

I guess the gold market will be a major source of stuff too, as it sells items which require mastery of skill for PCs to craft (and we are unlikely to have many of them)

And the extra effects do look juicy. For example I am looking at:
1. Twin Hook Swords (War +3, Double Strike Damage +20%). For a dedicated duelist, the effect can be worth much more than the extra 1 point in war
2. Sleeve Darts (War +1, Better consideration in plots) a cheap alternative, which may serve agent-type officers
3. Scout's Map (Lead +1, *Scout) just a way to (e) a skill which otherwise would take a very long time

Regular items are very cost efficient to buff stats, but exotic stuff to buff select stats is will definitely be in demand.
