Aside from SimRTK and RTKO there is Way of the Dragon, although its hit late game. Luckily Beta for next game is already getting set up so you can not only play the current version but check out what Next Version will look like.

What RoTKgame has to offer

-We accept role-players of any level. The site does not function off of complicated, formulated role-play, and thus is easy for both beginners and rewarding for experts who wish to simply build a storyline to their desires without constraints.
-The game is divided into 'Seasons', or 'sessions' for which the game is in play. Each season offers something new and unique, no two seasons are alike. This also eases the 'power gap' between members, each season is a new tale, and great for new members who want to make their mark on the site.

What makes us different
There are a handful of forums out there that use this era, with a similar format. Why choose RoTKgame over others?

-We are a veteran community. Between two sites, the concept of RoTKgame has lasted over 5 years, despite numerous staff changes, simply because the members of the site wanted to keep the game alive.
-Simulated system keeps moderators as unbiased and fair as possible. This system was created over 5 years ago, and has been constantly developed.
-Helpful staff. All of the current staff members, including the current head moderators, were once members (some more than once). We know exactly how you feel, and consider every question and suggestion.
-The site runs on its community. Unlike some sites, where 2-3 members can still continue without much issue, RoTKgame needs its members to get to know each other
-Continuous game. Though you may RP at your own pace, the game's functions take place on a 24 hour system. Thus, you'll never have to wait for a 'turn' to be over, which can take weeks or even months, unlike other RoTK sims.
-It's as involved as you like. If you're an extremely casual player, you can easily contribute by spending less than 5 minutes on the site. If you ever decide to become a hard-core player, you can plunge yourself into the deep strategies and politics of this ever deepening game.

Heroes of Chaos has returned!

After a successful closed beta test, Heroes of Chaos: China is now opening its final beta test to all! No codes or passkeys required. This final test will include fine-tuning one of the novel functions of the simulation, which include the following:

- A revamped civil system, designed to rely less upon officers and more upon choice, while simplifying the entire process.
- A personal turn system designed with balance and diversity in mind. No more "only stat/skill training" PT's!
- A game system designed around the principle of lessening the importance of any particular battle for the purposes of increasing the amount of battle possible. This means that battles will be more common and more easily fought on multiple fronts.
- A battle system designed around simplicity, speed, and strategy.

The beta will last 11 game turns and starts in 191 AD, right after the Warlords abandoned the coalition against Dong Zhuo. The game is ruler-focused, with players signing up to play as one of the 12 historical ruler teams, either as the ruler or as part of their team. There will be limited PC sign-up based on the total amount of players involved, but PC sign-up will be balanced across all kingdoms. The game will be played more in a team format than is normal to simulations; plots and defections are prohibited. The full version will have more options available for PC's, but for the beta, the kingdom mechanics and personal turns are of primarily focus and can be tested best under these conditions.

Sign-ups for the ruler slots are now open! They will end on Saturday, October 6th, at 11 PM EST. The beta will be run at a high pace with an anticipated 2 1/2 month run, which means the sim should end shortly before Christmas. Average turn length is expected to be approximately 6 days.

The Year is SY 458,

Ten months have passed since the fall of the Scarlet Moon Empire and the rise of the Toran Republic. The movement once known as 'The Liberation Army' is now officially the National Army of Toran and most of the remnants of the Scarlet Moon Army have been integrated into their ranks. A large portion of the citizens have taken a liking to the new regime, and are happy to have a strong and thoughtful leader such as President Lepant. There are still some loyal to the Empire however, and will always consider the land the Imperialist Scarlet Moon.

There are rumors of Imperial loyalists working behind the scenes to take back their nation, and accounts of caravans and small villages being raided by unknown assailants. President Lepant is urged to look into these matters, but his attention is fixed on their Northern borders, as the threat of another border dispute with Jowston is very real.

I'm not sure how much of a following that would have. Nowadays, we have multiplayer programs for Pokemon for PVP and even programs to play the game itself (That allows for RP) with other players.

To expand upon that, there's a d20 tabletop game for pokemon now that some people already use for online games of pokemon, so really there's no need for an entire sim dedicated to pokemon anymore.

That wasn't a RP site, it was a site with a community based around Pokemon Tabletop Adventures, a d20 tabletop game for pokemon that folk use to then have pokemon RPGs. The links to the playerguide and pokedex should be on that homepage

Way of the Dragon 2011

In a poll of players taken just after the game ended, 23% of players said it was the "BEST RTK SIM VERSION I HAVE EVAR PLAYED OF ANY SIM WEBSITE EVAR. I'M SPEAKING IN ALL CAPS IT'S THAT IMPORTANT" (direct quote). Fully 89% of respondents said that the game was "one of the best [sims] out there" or better.

I know this is uber old, but every time I come onto this thread, I see it since its the third or fourth post down. For some reason, the link won't work for me... I get to the website just fine, but when I click on one of the links, a bunch of URLs pop up like the page is under construction. I don't know why this is happening I know for a fact that it used to work, since that is where I got my current avatar... I think this is an excellent cite, but it'd be even more amazing if I could see the pics XD

PS: Is it cuz I use firefox?
