I´m currently 21 years old and from Austria. My first Romance Game was Dynasty Warriors 3 and since then, I just loved the series and history behind it. I´m currently waiting to get accepted into military service and after that I´ll start to study psychology and probably english at the university. I hope we´ll all have fun together in the upcoming version.

We don't have an exact date yet, but we're getting close. We should be releasing rules and having an open test for the V6 systems soon. How soon is soon? That I can't say yet! Keep checking in.

Hello!

I've been a fan since I played RTK3 on the Super Nintendo. At the time, I didn't know anything about the history or kingdoms, and I still get a laugh when I remember what I called things. There's the obvious "kayo kayo" of course, but the numbered cities as well, "7 yi" (Ye) and "22 wan" stand out. "The trees" was Liu Yan/Zhang because I thought the icon looked like an evergreen tree. I also played Destiny of an Emperor without realizing it was related. Fun times. I've played most of the RTK series since then, mostly IV, VI, and XI.

I came across this site several months ago, and was disappointed to have joined during an interim, but I'm excited to see things progressing for V6. Thank you to all the people behind the curtain for working on this.

Hello! Long, long time lurker here deciding to post as V6 seems to be getting underway and I figured I'd better sign up and make myself known.

I'm Tim, from the UK. I've been into ROTK since I first bought ROTK 8 for the PlayStation 2 in a Game because I was there and nothing else took my fancy. Got really into it, so much so I ended up breaking the disk from overuse. Also then played the Dynasty Warriors 5 series before the Playstation became obselite and I moved on. Recently came across an italian copy of ROTK XI for the PC on ebay and bought it. Had a ton of fun playing it and then discovered this site. Been lurking here ever since, after managing to arrive after V5 had finished. Then today I figured, what the heck, and took the plunge. So here I am!

Hi, I'm Ianic from Miami (say it Yah-nick). I actually got int ROTK backwards from most people. I saw the movie Red Cliff, thought "Who was that awesome guy waving the white fan around?" and found out the rest from there.

I've never played a dynasty warriors game but I've played a little of ROTK 8, 9, and 11 though only recently and not extensively.

I'm Dave. Middle aged teacher outside Atlanta (USA). Roleplay in pen and paper from way back with some online/forum roleplaying although somewhat rusty. I'm a big fan of RotTK games and similar games as well as a history fan. I'm also a huge fan of both Chinese historical epic movies and Hong Kong martial arts movies. On the other hand I'm horrible with Chinese names and keeping the historical relationships straight.

I'm not sure whether to hope everything starts soon or is delayed. I'm eager now but already know that I will be out of contact around the end of Dec.

I've been into ROTK for a while, I bumped into Dynasty Warriors around when I first got PS2 and ROTK 7 soon after. Picked up 8 - 11 after that gradually, with 7 and 10 being my favourite. I actually saw this place a while back, maybe a year ago, but I'm not huge on forum roleplay in general (usually MUDs) so I passed it up. But with the lack of RP out there for this setting, and the cool system in place here (liking the new map) I thought I'd give it a shot.

I was first into Dynasty warriors starting with the third, skipping the fourth and moving onto the fifth. Have always loved it since I first picked it up. I'm reintroducing myself... I don't think I've posted here since like 2003. I guess I lost track of this place with high school and stuff. Oh well! Anyways...

I'm Jon, I'm 23 years old! I work for the US Navy as a chemist for nuclear reactors onboard the USS Carl Vinson (big aircraft carrier). I've been playing the RTK games for ages, and I read the books back when I was in eigth grade. I haven't played a DW game since DW4 when the series started to take a nose dive... uhmm... I tried to make my own sim a LONG time ago and failed miserably. I'm pretty eager to sit down and go over the new version of the game. My wife tries to keep my attention on her all day, so it'll be a task to get into this, but I definitely cannot wait to start again.

I am not good at introductions, so I will keep this short by saying that I fell in love with Ancient Chinese culture and history ever since I saw the first ROTK series on television and was already a great fan of Roleplaying games - both p&p and otherwise - imagine my joy when I found this place. I lurked around a while, but seeing that V6 has not started yet I was in no hurry to actually register.

Also, I want to say that I am more fond of RP-ing female characters than males, if that is a problem in this particular game (which I assume it would be, especially for rogues/assassin types) do let me know.

There is no role in this game where character gender is a problem. If you want to play a female assassin then go for it, we have had successful female assassins before.
